Sofa Scape – Delivery Terms & Conditions

🚚 Before We Arrive – What You Need to Know
To help ensure a smooth delivery, customers must ensure the following conditions are met before the scheduled delivery date:
- Clear and accessible entry to the property must be available.
- Our courier uses 3.5-tonne Luton vans, so any parking restrictions or limitations must be addressed in advance.
- Measure all doorways, corridors, and stairwells your furniture will pass through. We recommend a minimum clearance width of 75cm. If your access is narrower, please speak with our support team before placing your order.
- Our standard delivery includes drop-off to the main entrance or ground floor hallway only. For deliveries beyond this (e.g., upstairs or into specific rooms), an extra handling fee applies.
- You'll receive a 4-hour delivery window approximately 24 hours before delivery. Ensure the phone number provided during checkout is accessible. Missed calls may cause delays.

An additional 1-hour arrival notice will be sent so someone over 18 is present to accept the delivery.
🛒 Processing Orders
- Orders placed before 5 PM (Monday to Friday) are generally processed the same day.
- Orders after 5 PM will be handled the next working day.
- For weekend orders: anything placed after 4 PM Saturday will be processed on Monday.

⏱️ Delivery Timeline
- Since our sofas are UK-made, we typically aim to deliver within 48 to 72 hours of order confirmation.
- We offer delivery seven days a week.
- Once your purchase is confirmed, a member of our logistics team will reach out to schedule a delivery date that works for you.

For custom-size or made-to-measure items, delivery times will vary. Speak to our team at the point of inquiry to confirm lead times.
💷 Delivery Costs & Location Coverage
- Standard delivery anywhere in the UK: £80 flat rate.
- If your postcode falls north of SA30 or SY10, a higher delivery fee of £130 will apply

We do not currently deliver to the following postcodes:
- AB - DD - PH - PL - EX - TQ - TR
❌ What Happens If You Miss Delivery
- We’ll confirm your delivery day and time slot in advance, and also call 1 hour prior to arrival.
- If no one is home and we cannot complete delivery, your item(s) will be returned to our depot.
- A redelivery fee, equal to your original delivery charge, will apply.

If you choose to cancel your order after a failed delivery attempt, the delivery fee will not be refunded.
🔄 Rescheduling Your Delivery
- If you need to change your delivery date, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice.
- Changes made within 48 hours of delivery may incur a £50 amendment fee.

If you try to reschedule on the day of delivery (after items have left the warehouse), the full delivery fee will be charged again for redelivery.
